I came here as a PSD (prime student driver) after using this website to narrow my choices down to pam trucking, swift and FFE. I am glad to have chosen prime. Prime paid for my bus ticket which some training schools would not do. I didnt have to pay anything other than the $100 administrative fee. I was given a clean room and meals are provided on site. YES they have a cafeteria on premise. You get a meal card. They give you enough that you wont have to pay anything extra. They have a laundry facility on site and have shuttle buses what seems like every 15 minutes. With the help of the practice test on this website I was able to pass my cdl written exam on my first try. I scored 85 percentile on general knowledge. I scored 95 percentile on air brakes and 100 percentile on combination. I scored 85 percentile on my tanker. Now that I have my permit I can now get on the simulator to practice driving a rig. Oh for anyone considering prime as their trucking school you can get your permit before coming here. The advantage to that is you get a head start and get to use the simulator. With that being said you will be required to change your cdl permit over to missouri. Also to drive for prime you MUST have your tanker endorsement. So heads up...if you coming to prime (which is a very good idea) study up on general knowledge, air brakes, combination and tanker.
