Let me give you an honest final evaluation of their programme and the instructors one by one. I really recommend the school. I haven't experienced any other school, but I liked their programme very much.

I enjoyed the classroom instruction, the backing in the range, and driving on the road.

The first three days with Claudia were the the most important. She did the ground work. After that was merely refining the skills and gaining confidence.

The training is good and organized. They seem to learn from the growing pains the school in Indianapolis has experienced.

Instructors:

Jorge was and is a good classroom teacher. The last too times in the range was good as well.

Claudia has been a great instructor. Her style of teaching has helped me a lot. If I were forced to choose my favorite instructor it would be her. 80% of my thanks goes to her when it comes to driving and learning how to drive.

Marco has been a great driving and backing teacher. He helped me refining my driving skills especially longevity driving and turns. His humor has been helping me to be more relaxed.

Mat was the major factor in improving my backing skills.

The new instructor seems to be good, too.

Update 10/20/14

Today was a good day. My confidence increased although I touched the curb once.

Tomorrow will be my road test.

Update Week # 6

Last Monday was a weird day. I did not feel well, but I decided to drive because when I am on the road there will be times when I am bothered by a cold etc. I had consumed too much soda and caffeine. In the beginning, I was out of tune. Later, I seemed to get more relaxed, but towards the end I made a heavy mistake. Thanks God that nothing severe happened. If I continued this stupidity while changing lanes, I would have crushed a car and caused a collision.

After this incident, I almost doubted if truck driving is the career for me.

If there were a Nobel Prize for patience, the instructor, Claudia, would deserve to win that.

The goal during the rest of the week was to gain back my confidence.

The same instructor who witnessed my blunder with me again. I am surprised that she did not wear a helmet this time.

The driving was not that bad. However before that incident I had been more secure in driving.

Jaywalkers are Annoying

Actually, I am surprised that this jaywalker did not walked against a pole. He was literally looking on his plate constantly. If there were a hole, he would probably fall into it.

Jaywalkers are Annoying

I am going through driving training now. I am preparing for the road test.

The driving and backing is going well. However, during driving I discovered that the four wheelers are not the most annoying but jaywalkers are. Almost everytime I drive I have to deal with jaywalkers crossing the streets at a slow tempo not caring about anything.

Two days ago, I saw a man busy eating tacos crossing the crosswalk on red light. A car needed to brake hard, but he was still busy eating.

The school is good so far. There are some days when there is a lot of waiting. Next Monday they will have a new instructor who will be responsible for the backing range. This will improve a lot.

This week was a success. According to the instructors, I am above average. I progressed very fast. I just need to get a little more security in driving. Next week will be the last before the roadtest.

Monday 10/6/14 was not a driving day. Until lunch we only practiced the parallel parking. Today, it was a break through.
