Speak Directly With A Recruiter From PAM/Driver Solutions

Could I be kicked out for not putting something on a conviction form when a recruiter told me not to? It was a misdemeanor for an open bottle when I ws eighteen, so eleven years ago. Kicked out of trucking school that is. I know they go over your background check etc and People get kicked out for various reasons like failing the drug test or other things. Idk, I hope my recruiter was right...what does the PAM recruiter think? Thanks

1 week left until swift.

I'm starting school this Sunday, I can't wait! I hear a lot of people dropout and get kicked out. What are the main reasons why people dropout and get kicked out? I'm just hoping that everything goes smoothly.

Swift Background Check and Reasons To Get Kicked Out Of School

I was wondering if not putting something on the conviction form from ten years ago because my recruiter said not to could be a reason for Swift to kick me out of school while I'm there? They will do a background check on me anyway, right? Idk. Can anyone help!?!? I'm leaving on the 21st of this month. Thanks

Rohel Company

For what it's worth, i know a guy (lol classic line) who drove for Roehl. for a few years, he is the reason i went with them. Their safety record is top notch, he had many stories of issues being resolved very quickly and acceptably, (is that a word lol) Currently going through the training if you care to read a lil of what's going on its onto the diaries page, While they don't offer paid schooling as some others do, i will get paid during my phase 2 training at 90dollars a day every day i am available to work. My interactions so far with them have been stellar, Responses with my recruiter have been immediate. I'm out of new York, so the passport. Is actually an enhanced license... Is that an option for you? Much cheaper. On a personal level, after my research of lots of different companies, Roehl came out on top.

Thanks for the response. You mention that they dont have the paid schooling... i was under the impression that they do because they were in the trucking schools section of this website and it says the do the CDL company sponsored training? im confused now lol. I guess I just have to wait until tomorrow after labor day, to get a response from a recruiter or something. Thanks anyways!

Rohel Company

I have been hearing a lot of decent things about Rohel, whereas compared to the things i've heard about Swift and a lot of other companies (who hire new drivers after their CDL training ) which were a lot of times bad. What are your guys opinions about Rohel for a new driver? Also, they mentioned on their website that I need to get a special passport so I can get into the Canadian border... does anybody know if they get us that during the time we are in schooling?

Go to the top of this website and click on trucking schools. That will give you a list of company sponsored schools.

Rohel was one of them indeed, thank you very much, sir

Rohel Company

I was wondering if anybody knew if the Rohel CDL training was paid by the company like many others? It's the weekend so I cant contact a recuriter. But if anybody knows that would be great. Based on what I read, which was very little, it sounded as if they only pay you back if you pay out of pocket... but i am not sure. Any help would be great. I was just wondering if it was like the Swift CDL company sponsored training where they pay you back eventually and there is no out of pocket expenses. Thanks in advance.
