That is true. I must say that at lease I can make them tractors move without bucking....lol the others are still learning the clutch release.......I keep telling myself ......maybe because of my age, I grow up having to learn to drive a stander. And I think that's why it came easier on that part for me. But now that I'm awake this morning.....lol I must say that the old tractor we started in had so much power and felt right as I step and grab with a three point to get into it. Then after the kid ate the 1 gear off it.😳 we had to move over to a different truck. It looks new from the outside. So everyone was 😍🙌👏👏👏 . It was like harder to get up on and I'm still looking for the same railing and places to use. Then once you are in it. And moving it's a turtle compared to the old beast 😏 and I told everyone the the clutch in the old one was like new. This one is like search and find deep. If you know what I mean. Anyway bring it on. I'm ready for the day! I hope everyone of y'all have beautiful day. Please don't wait for the world to come to you, get up and take the 1 step and then the second and then the third. Then before you know it your there. Over come your fears and do it. I have that one lady in my class of three lol. Anyway she must have a 100 for every thing and must get it right on the 1st try. I told her relax need room for growth and we are human so please remember we learn by making mistakes. If I'm going to make them which I will. I want to do it now so someone can tell me how to fix it or what to change to get it right. Why I did what I did and that was the out come of that move. So please don't be so hard on your selfs. Well the sun in my eyes this morning was killer for the 8 step check for me. I even had sunglasses on. But that sun was reflecting off the hood as it came up and shined right at my eyes . I had to use my clip board to block it. Well when it can time for the next student , he just raised his set and boom he was fine......lol I know what to do next time. Hahah. It was a great day. I drank water all day and sweated my butt off....lol it was hot! Tomorrow is going to be hotter like 105 ! Lets just say I have ratcoon look right now from wearing my sunglasses .......😂😂😂😂 I would say I'm working on a tan. The insturter is from the night classes so he really baked . He sweated just all the rest of us. I ware a white t- shirt ......so I could stay alittle cooler. And will tomorrow as well. I'm done trying to wear pullover style polo shirts till we start driving on the road. At 47 I'm wearing my hair in a ponytail and a white T- shirt tucked in with a belt and jeans and my work boots. Normal dress for me when I mow my three acer yard and weed eat. But you know it's better to be cooler than fry like a fish 😂😂😜😜

It works for me. It you are used to being outside all day then you will be fine.😏 1st week inside a cold room readying watching DVDs and testing then Saturday we started outside with the trucks😏 if you are used to the elements outside then fine. If not you may melt here in the south.....lol. Oh and when you get home just shower eat and then straight to bed.😏 so you are ready and the body is rested. And don't forget to stay hydrated! I use a gallon and just refill it daliy. So if I can do it. I know you can. If you do all the CDL training here then you will have it. And understand everything that is being talked about. Plus be able to pass the test the 1 st. I'm so thankful to have found this sites😏

So far this school has been well worth it. I'm so glad I chose this local college. Everyone is so knowledgeable. I go to school from 7 am-5:30 pm mon-sat. For three weeks . I'm in my second week. I have learned straight line and 90 and 45 degree ally docking, parallel parking this week.😃

Local college Del Mar. The insturter I have this week is a female. And she did OTR for the last 13 years years.😃 the women I spoke about before (70s years old) has over 3 million miles of OTR as a tanker drive they told me. So far this school has be well worth it. I start my day off with Folgers at least a 1/2 to 3/4 pot (it's shows on side it holds 12cups.....I think that's a lie..maybe it's 6 cups) then water. I Love green tea. And if it's cool or cold out I really like hot teas.....to many to name. Then I work on water again. Must get those 8 glasses or more down.if you drink a glass at the time you wake up,after coffee ,after lunch or during,then in between lunch and dinner and then at of right after dinner and then an hour or two before bed......is the only way I have fond , to get that 8 or more glasses down.....how about y'all ? Oh by the way that is a large glass by the way. Any body find it hard to stay hydrated ? You know your there if the pee is clear...... Just saying .

Yesterday was 1 st day on the yard for my class of three. And I must say I was so impressed when I seen the class that started before us..... Teacher show up...... It was this small short framed women who looked to be in her 70s......wow she just walked up and said she had been driving a long time started in the seventies and then tried to guess the years we where born. Lol she was right on till she got to me. Hahah 1980..... I said thanks.then she said 1978. Nope not even.... But thanks. Then se said 60s???? I said yes 1967. She then said no way and let me see your license! She said wow you look good lol I think she was trying to be nice. But I must say that the others had no idea of my age before then. So after that every one held the door for me. Lol anyway it was her that I was impressed with. Wow after all the time in a truck and now teaching ...... I loved it. Then I watched her walk out to a rig and check it then unlock it and claim up inside and start it then drove it up and stoped and yeld to her students " let's roll out! " and away they went. I hope I get her sometime before my time ends. I have a lot I would like to ask her.😉 she must be a walking book of knowledge !
