That all depends on you... This industry is performance base the more you work the more you make.... I hear a lot of people moan about not getting miles and I only had issues with my last co driver but other then that I made pretty good money...

Confused what company to choose from help!

Depends on you... Which kind of freight do you want to haul, home time and pay... Whatever else you want like pets, team driving, length of training and type of trucks... Make lists of each companies pros and cons and pick which one is best for you...

I'm making pretty good money so far and not looking forward to starting over at another company at this point but anything is possible... Teaming is OK as long as you got a good co driver... I like that fact that we are mostly drop and hooks and run mostly on interstates....

I could see how the WY winters would be awful. I'm guessing you mean LA, the city, and not LA, the state of Louisiana. If so, that would be awful to drive in. That's good you didn't have to wait too long at customers.

Yeah la city in California

With crst most of our customers are drop and hooks and right off the interstate so not too much of a hassle... I'd have to say winter driving through Wyoming and getting shutdown and finding a decent co driver but that's about all I can think of...

I did have to shuffle trailers in LA and almost took out a parked car making a right turn but I kept my cool and waited for traffic to move so I could finish my turn... That's pretty much it if I can think of more I'll post it...

One year ago today crst screwed up and gave me keys to drive one of their 80,000 lbs rig all over American... Guess what??? I did it safely and mostly on time lol.... Woot woot one year accident free... heck not even a dot inspection (knock on wood)... I had a lot of ups and downs but I learned to stay away from those mountains lol...

For all the newbies just stay focused and use your head and buckle up cuz its going to be one he|| of a ride...

Flying J

I go through Birmingham often, mostly between Memphis and Atlanta. Occasionally I also go south on I-20 or I-459. Like I did yesterday. But I rarely need to stop in McCalla. And Swift doesn't buy F-J/Pilot fuel.

When did that change??? That where I fueled while I was with them in 2014
