Transferring CDL from Arizona to Ohio.

I don't think the 60 days will be an issue of any sort.

As far as what it takes to transfer, that varies from state to state. It could be just a few minutes of paperwork, you might have to take some tests again, or you might have to take all of the testing again from scratch (Illinois requires that). So you'll have to contact the Motor Vehicle Department to find out what they'll require you to do.

Its funny.. with all the negativity out there bashing company's. . They won't get you home.. there bottom feeders. . I was fired for a parking ticket.. the ripped me off.. ruined my credit so on so on. However I did not hear gripes about transferring CDL to home state or I had to test twice or pay twice. Strange because they over exaggerated everything else.

Sleeping at a truckstop

I may even make up a simple sign that reads, "Please do not disturb unless emergency." I shudder at the thought of the lot lizards.

Lot lizard I'm going to assume is another term for crack head prostitute from this quote and makes me cringe as well. It does bring up a good point though. With all the solitude in the lifestyle and not being home much does not bother me as much as the lack of intimate relations or dating. I don't even imagine when i do get home finding a date. That will be the hardest part for me as I do enjoy entertaining a lady from time to time. I guess that is why there are "Lot Lizards" but there not ladies now are they.

The product is already above temp. To have the repair will take 2 hours at least and the unit will be shut down completely during repair. On the other hand if you deliver it will be off the truck in less then 2 hour. I would deliver AND explain my situation to wdc so they could move quickly to insure the product doesn't spoil.

Working hours to get most miles

Robert its called a rolling recap. If you dont max out 70 in 8 days you get your hours back at midnight the 8th day. Ill probably confuse the begesus out of ya but lets say you come out on Monday and work 8 hrs a day for 8 days you will have worked 64 hours. At midnight the following monday (your 8th day) you will gain what falls off your first day out which is 8 hrs. So on tuesday you have 70-64=6+8=14 hours to run. Plus each night at midnight you get 8 hours or however much you worked to keep rolling.

Confused me all right.. I do hope they cover this in school.. or I get you for a trainer Red

Any one have some advice on if it's better to run hard n take a 34re set or only drive so many hours a day?

double-quotes-end.png

Ultimately that depends on how long you want to stay out here and if you want to sit or keep it moving. I drive 8 1/2 to 9 hrs a day so I can roll for 4 weeks straight and not have to sit around. I hate sitting.

So if you get less than 70 hours per week, you can skip the 34 hour break? Does the '70 hours avaiable' start over each week?

If you hit 70 before 8 days 34 will reset. Any 34 hour break will reset the 8 days and 70 hours is my understanding

Confused

Wait.. the CDL is from dmv not the school. So that would be like saying if i lived there and moved I would have to take the class all over even if I was driving 10 years. That don't sound right but I will look into it Monday. Thanks

double-quotes-end.png

Captain k miles check with Virginia last I heard they don't take the cdls from out of state schools just a heads up. there are 3 states that don't take cdls from out of state schools Virginia Maryland and not sure the other one

Hmm you would think the recruiter would mention that. That would be a problem. A big one
