I am 43 years old, from Chattanooga, tn I got my CDL through Chattanooga State. I started my training at Schneider National last week. I start my second week this weekend. I spent the last 6 years as a human resource manager at a local medical company. I have always wanted to go into trucking and though I need to do it before I get to old. I was a police officer from 1992 till 1998 with the East Ridge police dept. I left that due to low pay and a bunch of BS. I am married with one step son that is 27 yr old. I look forward to this new career and I hope this site will assist me in my adventure.

Started training with Schneider
I started training with Schneider National last week, so far so good. They seem to be a very professional group of people and very safety oriented. My second week of training was delayed due to a lack of trainers per number of students we had, so I am at home until Saturday when a trainer opens up. But they are paying for my time at home and that is okay with me. I am doing my training at their West Memphis Ar. location. The trainers there really work with the students to teach them safe driving and doing things the Schneider way. I think I am going to like this company a lot.

Hair drug test questions....
I have a shaved head and also have very little body hair. They took it from my arm pits. Made them itch like hell. I too am with Schneider I am going into my second week this sat.
