Can I still get my cdl and find a job

Hi I've been wanting to go to school to get my cdl but I got a d.u.I three years ago and I am worryed I won't be able to get a job although it was not a conviction I thought I might still have a chance I did the two years supervision and I haven't had any moving violations since April 2012 on my personal driving abstract it just shows a suspension and on the court abstract it says why but does not say conviction please and information that can help me make my mind up what be appreciated cause I can't afford to spend the money on school for a maybe
