List of fines or points

With my CLP, got stopped at the scale, had to slide the trailer axle to get legal, but no fines -could they have fined me? How much?

Can a student with a Permit (CLP) be ticketed by Law Enforcement?

Greater discrepancy between dispatched and actual mileage

2 different perspectives from 2 different people. Both are worthy opinions. Bottom line for me- “I’ll make my own decision on how to handle this.”

OLDSCHOOL:

“I had a regular run that I made great money off of but I always drove about 150 miles more than they would dispatch me on that run. It was a 1,500 mile load, and I would do it about three times a month. That's 10% of the miles lost!“

PACKRAT:

I do enough unpaid, free stuff for the company without giving up 25 miles each trip.

Off to Stevens Transport on Monday the 10th, after 20+ years off the road

Thanks. Very helpful. I’m in a similar situation as you. I’m 67, have CDL, haven’t driven for 4 years, and will need a refresher. So your writing was spot-on for me.....Where did you end up? Solo? How much was pay during 240 hours?..... If you write more, I’m looking forward to doing some reading! Good luck and God bless.

Prime Announced New Training Miles 3/8/21

Just heard a reason, on a Prime Facebook video, that they originally went to 50k miles- because of Covid, trucking slowed down, and this stretched out the training time.

I really really really hate team driving

Zach- Quitting your job? I was hoping you would make it. But you’ve described many issues. Such as Codriverissues- trying to put diesel in def tank, saying that he wanted to commit suicide, and instead of driving to next shipper, doing a 360 and going back to previous shipper. Thanks for sharing all this, very, very helpful. If possible I’d like to be a trainer. Maybe a different company as a solo? I love Prime Inc, Springfield Mo.
