I am currently interested in a career in trucking. Namely with Schneider. How long of a time frame does the hair test go back to? I've generally been told it's 90 days. If that's the case I will surely pass. However if we're talking two years I would not. I know how long it CAN go back. But what time frame are companies testing? I am pursuing a career in trucking simply because I want better for myself. I stopped doing all the stupid things I was doing. And even stopped associating with people doing it. I completely agree that driving is serious. So I will not be doing anything to jeopardize the safety of others, or myself while in this career. So please do not bombard me with the "If you're asking you shouldn't be driving" response. Thanks.

DOT Hair Test
I'm all for the test. Drivers are essentially moving a multi-thousand pound piece of metal. They need to be as coherent as possible. I just wanted to know prior to taking the test. I know the failing a DOT Screening is info other employers would have access to.
I just wanted to know the time frame before I wasted my/company time. I'm going to guess Schneider falls under the general category.
