Quick Hello

Phew its been ages since I popped inconfused.gif I honestly dont know where the time even goes anymore. Ive been with Americas Service Line for 8 1/2 months nowshocked.png. I like it here. The money is good. They dont hire rookies though unfortunately. Its funny I remember coming in here right after I finished cdl school. I was waiting to start orientation then I blinked and its 3 1/2 years that Ive been out here. Its crazy. I still cant believe it. I dont really have many new adventures anymore just the usual traffic and miles. I did deliver in the Carthage, MO underground caves yesterday. Pretty cool stuff. Not much else is new. What about with yall? I still see a few oldies but goodies in here that probably still remember Redsmile.gif

Which companies have driver facing cameras?

WEL Companies does in some of their trucks. It was optional on the 2015 but mandatory on anything newer or who safety deemed necessary

Going Home, But Not Necessarily Because I Want To

A girl leaves for a bit and all this happens! Im sorry OS that you have to experience this. The BIG C has plagued many close to me lately. Had a scare myself about a yr ago. Still monitoring the girly parts to ensure that it doesn't get worse. Looks like you have a pretty cool looking battle scar. Maybe you can tattoo a mike tyson design on there lol

What happened to that driver?

And to think I almost made the list. lol

I badger Kathy and Guy all the time to pop in here. I always can't help but wonder what happened to Amelia? Haven't seen her since the old forum.

Hassle-Free Truck Stops

You know Ive never had an issue at the TA in London nor the Petro in Gary. I will echo W. Memphis AR or and of the TS on the I40 corridor in AR. All have police behind the counters but aside from those I haven't really had many I would say stay away from. I guess because Im in the truck by 8 and dont come out til the sun comes up but then again Im more concerned about creep truckers than lot lizzards lol

I-81 through VA and PA?

You will have a few mountains but I don't remember or believe that VA has any grades. PA has mountain grades closer to around exit 100. Not any south of that. Barring any snow or fog its not really anything to them.

Right around the 9 month mark is where things smoothed out for me. Its not easy out here at all but I love it. I have very far and few dayd where I get so frustrated I just wanna say f*** it (usually only happens when I break a nail) lol Hang in there. It will be just fine

I feel you I've been away from home for awhile now and am feeling thr pain. I gotta get in the groove and I know the time I do spend home is going to be good.

Just hoping I can last at least a year. Once the money starts stacking up I'll be questioning my motives. I have no bills so it's pretty easy to save.
