Starting my career soon with Stevens Transport March 2016

Thanks for the info. The school I'll be doing is through Stevens , but it's a community college called Ranger. After reading your posts about your time with them I was wondering if it was the same place or not. I can't find any info about the training through them, unless I'm just missing it somewhere. But it's not even the same structure I read about on here with Stevens. Anyway, thanks for the input i do appreciate it. You said your brother is finishing up with them, I wonder if he's in the same school I'll be going to. Somewhere around 90 away from Dallas called Ranger Community college. Anyway, thanks for the response. Have a good and safe run

It's a god company old salt, my brother is finishing up his training with them in a week, I think you will be better off going through your college. They have their academy, but I felt limited seat time and my nerves cost me with them. Good luck

Going to Stevens training 6/13!

So after a ton of research and a few phone calls, decided to go with Stevens transport for training and new career. I feel great about the company, but can find no real information on the school which is Ranger College in Ranger,Texas. It sounds like a great deal for me, but could it be too good? Maybe last minute jitters who knows. Not about leaving home as I have done that already for the last 12 years as a Merchant Marine working in oil field. Just nervous about school is all. Sounds good on paper and on the phone though, thats for sure. Anyway just wanted to get that out there. I appreciate any response. Also, Thank you to all of our service members and vets to even give us the opportunity to be able to make these choices! Happy memorial day everyone.
