Posting a new thread about Swift....

Last day of swift orientation tomorrow and they just do UA.

Saw the video today in orientation. The cam records 20 sec snippets. If no event occurs the snippets are overwritten. Otherwise they are saved. There is no streaming from the cams. The QC is what is determining the event and reporting it just like they do today.

So of this turns out to be not true, then The President and COO just lied to every one of his employees on camera. I don't think he's gonna do that.

They asked me what I thought and I told them honestly. I'm dont care.

It's actually $7.61/wk. I went ahead and signed up for it.

in orientation today at Swift they gave us the option of opting in for this service via a weekly $7 payroll deduction. Does anyone have any experience with them or advice?

Started here in Ocala at 7:00. And we were finished by 2. And we had a 1 hour lunch. Standard stuff but we didn't have many road tests or physicals in our group so things went pretty quickly. Did our drug screen (UA) this morning and started learning about how to lift things, climb things, carry things, walk on ice, etc, oh and they went over the HazMat test.

Pretty simple stuff. They provided transport to the one fellow to the DMV so he could get his DL and for another to get to his physical. Staff here is super friendly.

They gave us a form to elect to have payroll deductions for US Legal. Is that something I should do? I understand what they do, but at $7/wk I'm not sure if this is something I really need.
