I'm not a mechanic or anything, but I think if you had air coming out the back it means that one of the diaphragms inside is leaking, and the brakes aren't being released completely. In that case plugging the hole will stop you losing pressure but won't release the brakes. But I've had that happen to me twice and the good news is that it only takes like half an hour to replace a brake can. Anyway, if it were me I'd keep going unless you are smelling hot brakes.

That is pretty low. Is it cold there? It would suck if the bunk heater ran you out of fuel.

I think you also have to be careful when downshifting, for the same reason as the jake brakes. Use the brakes, they will spread the stopping force over all the wheels, and you also have ABS if some wheels lose traction.

Lol. I know it is Wal Mart. I was frustrated when I sent the message.
Lol, just checking. Last time I had to type it in I couldn't remember how many L's it had. Anyway, I guess most things with a search function these days will find it as long as you get close.

I haven't used a garmin, but you know it's "Walmart" and not "wall mart", right? Maybe that will make a difference.

Historic "Super Load" in Canada
You know what would suck, is if you stopped for fuel and the Super Load was in line before you.
Lol, I'm pretty sure that thing will not be pulling into any fuel island in the world, usually loads like that with multiple trucks powering it have a fuel truck traveling along with them for refueling.
Ha, ha, I was joking of course. But I did once pull in to a Pilot in Sturbridge MA and found a National Guard convoy in the fuel line. They were considerate enough to only use 3 of the 6 fuel lanes though.

Bad First Day Back
Jamie, I'll bet that made quite a noise. I had a belt split on my car once, so that a part of it was flapping around, and it sounded like the car was falling apart or something. I think it does show why we should be opening the hood during pretrip and looking for things like that, but sometimes things are just defective or don't show any obvious signs of a problem.
Bruce, I know what you mean. How often do you see a hood open at a truck stop? When you do it's usually an O/O doing repairs or maintenance. Not saying it's OK not doing it, just that I think we have to conclude that many don't.
