I have a major issue and it's quite concerning, base pay is 30 cpm though you're guaranteed base pay after 1800 or five loads delivered.(which won't happen at this time.) however western doesn't pay for empty miles ran at all

So I havent been around for awhile, Going form Otr to Local, me little story.

So when We last left off, I was leaving Prime and was let go for making several major mistakes, How ever they had not Showed up on my record At all, so at the time Ive decided to go with Snchieder to get more experance under my belt. Ive soon learned it was a huge mistake. (Based out of Maine) Ive learned Im not otr capible as i always lose so much time that Im not making a good paycheck each week. Pluse There t.a.h deal was kind of absurd. (only got 34 hr resets at home, and if i wanted more I must work them to take them.) Dont get me wrong they arnt a bad company to be apart of , just you need to be able to have the right drive for it. I dont have such a drive.

So Fast forward to Oct where Ive applied for a local job delivering Icecream. (or cross docking.) So far Im loving the company and the fact it pays houry, every one there treates me good mainly due to its small size, and being home every night is a pluse. Im finding it easyer to drive a daycab as opposed to a sleeper cab. Either way thats my update. (Oh and yes Ive driven in those yucky snow storms.)

Kyle, what happened at Prime that they let you go?

While officaly they said or will explain to any one who would be willing to hire me that I volentary quit, The real reason was because I wasnt up to there standards. Like I said Im aiming for schnieder and a position that gets me home every week, as I knew deep down that was the issue I was away form home for to long and was stressed about getting home weather I realised it or not.

So despite the toruble that happened at prime I havent given up on being a truck driver soon, Ill be going to schnider, which will give me less time on the road, and a bit more time home then being OTR. Hope for the best of luck!

Ok so apparently upgrade isn't happening yet for some reason I'm still on this truck, to make things worse I've been fumbling big tile from forgetting things (paper work to simple doing thing in the right order and cleaning) to breaking things that where just fixed. (Sliped on tire while window cleaning Messed up the cap and the stem) I want to be back to doing good how ever this isn't why I've haven't been upgraded yet unsure what's going on with that. I at a loss as of the moment
