Starting out. Question about Prime recruiting...

Thanks, everybody, for your responses. I never thought about email because I don't have my recruiter's email yet. I finally managed to get through on the recruiter line this morning and the recruiter that answered said my assigned recruiter would be out of the office until Monday and I should call back then. Not sure if that's got any bearing on what they thought of my application, but I've got to wait all weekend to find out what's up. confused.gif

Starting out. Question about Prime recruiting...

It would help to call during the hours recruiters are actually working. Try between 8-5 central time on a weekday.

Thanks, but I started calling at 2pm, central. (BTW, I called after 7pm earlier in the week and the message I heard said 7am to 7pm central, not 8-5...?) Unfortunately, I can't call at the "normal" early hours very often due to my present job, which is a 12 hour overnight shift with 2 hours travel time, round trip... A "your call cannot be routed" message doesn't seem like the normal way of doing things, IMO - especially at 2:40pm central on a weekday.

Starting out. Question about Prime recruiting...

I have applied for Prime and I've tried to call repeatedly and left a couple of messages in the general queue but I can't seem to reach a live person. Today I made several calls and finally got in touch with Cody but he couldn't seem to hear me and he promptly disconnected the call. After that, I tried again, waited on hold for 40 minutes. It finally rang through to a recruiter extension (I'm guessing?) but after 6 rings it put m back in the hold queue. I tried twice after that, on hold for 1h 35m before hanging up (had to go to work) and another hours and ten minutes after I got to work. I finally gave up at 19:45 pm. Are their phones always like that? Does anyone know if the call center might be having temporary problems?

Thanks!
