Heading to Tontitown by the 15th :D

Samson, I know what you mean. I went through the Swift Academy several months ago. I've been solo for six weeks now. I took everything very seriously, some didn't. I am driving a Truck and they aren't! It has been the most challenging endeavor of my life, and I have had a few. (My second marriage comes to mind! LOL!) I continue to take this job seriously, and will continue to do so. In this short period of time I have begun to reap the financial rewards as well. I have earned close to $5000.00 to date. Not bad for a ROOKIE!. Keep up the good work!

Sounds like you are where I want to be :D

Hey that's great to hear!

So what's next on the agenda? Does PAM have a trainer lined up for you already or do you still have to make the trip to orientation?

I will be making the trip to orientation soon :D First day is the 15th, so I will probably get an email with my bus tickets and arrival time/terminal location today or tomorrow!

Hi folks! I went to C1 Truck Driving school in Indy, and it was the most challenging thing I have done yet! I just wanted to let everyone know how valuable Truckingtruth.com was to me for gathering information before, during, and after my experience in a truck driving school! I hope everyone has a great day!

Hi folks! I finally pulled the trigger and committed to this profession! When we are Doing our DOT physical, how extensive is the search for a hernia? Is it the old "turn and cough" method or just an abdominal push??? Sorry I am nervous about it and just wondered! I am Driving for P.A.M., and my trainign is in Indianapolis at C1 trucking school through Driver solutions! Thanks!

Wanting to get into the field, have no experience, who is the best school to go go?

I chose Swift. No money down 0% financing. I had a Great experience at the Phoenix Academy.

Thanks folks! I just got off the phone with Driver Solutions, with an opportunity to go to Indiana and get free schooling for a 1 year contract with P.A.M... Does anyone have any personal experience with Driver Solutions or P.A.M.? Thanks again!

Hi! Folks! I've been on this site several times and it is very useful. I was just wanting to talk to someone that started with no experience and is a successful driver now. I been calling several schools here in Ohio hoping to get some answers about how much it costs to get into a trucking school. I have very little money and even worse credit... Any know a Trucking school that pays everything upfront?
