Just finished reading Brett's book...

Oh Man Mike...your gonna give Brett the big head...........shocked.png

LOL! Well, maybe that'll make up for NOT finding an error in his CDL training course, it was me that was tired and just hadn't read the question thoroughly, and got Halted because of it....8 times in a row, I might add (red-faced Mike bows out, stage right)

been reading all of everyone's comments, and finding THEM invaluable, also, like finding the Prime is nearly in my back yard, lol

Hope to see (or hear) y'all on the road, keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!!!!

Looking forward to your updates. Keep 'em coming. Good luck!!!!!

Could you please tell me/us what the heck is the pre-work screen? Thanx much, and good luck! Mike

Just finished reading Brett's book...

Yup, started it this morning after deciding to take a small break from his High Road Training CDL Training Course (I'm almost done with the HazMat section, PHEW!!!), and then just could not put it away, I had to finish the whole thing.

What a load!!!! I absolutely loved the way the he presented all of the information, along with the stories that were interspersed in the Chapters. It really is the Raw Truth about the life of being a truck driver; not just the good stuff, but the bad stuff, too.

My brother, Vernon, has driven over the road for about 10 years, and I've listened to his stories from the road, and I was still surprised to find out some of the things that Brett mentioned in his book.

I think that it is well worth purchasing for anyone looking to join the driving industry, and will more than likely be found to be entertaining if not educational for those of you already driving.

I can see that just making it through the written part of the test is not going to be the biggest challenge. And I have no idea what that/those challenges might take the form of, but I will be some 87 pages of information smarter and informed when they come up when I have to make the decision to take the exit, or stay going straight.

Thanks, Brett, for investing the time to put down all of those thoughts for those of us looking to change careers.

Sincerely, Mike Kashkin Salina, Kansas
