Condition no leaning no puddles underneath head lights turn lamps then under the hood I missed. Something's but most of the time that's how it gosw but now they have broke the. Test down into 3 sections. A B C you dont know what your doing till they tell you
What's done first during the pre-trip the walk around or the in-cab meaning the 3 part air brake test in-cab inspection and the tug test?

It wont do anything in neutral read sections 11/13 on your manual
Lowest gear possible
When doing my trailer/parking brakes check and it is time to check my parking brake and trailer brake, should I have the truck in first gear when giving it a tug for these exercises?

Thanks 6 string and I didn't go to CDL school imma have to look up what 11and 15 means I've had my CDL for 3 years now and never driven till I got offered. This job
I've always used 11 and 14 as a guideline. Not to muddle the subject or seem like I'm randomly arguing with Robert. Your school should've covered the vanilla basics on shifting and what RPM to watch for. Keep your eye on that tachometer.
Also keep in mind that the load you're pulling will affect your shift points - or rather how fast your have to shift, as will your speed (e.g. going up or downhill). Judging your road speed with your shift points is something that will only come with experience. You're gonna grind and sputter. Everybody does. Use those vanilla guidelines your school taught you, and what Robert and I suggested (we are saying the same thing), and eventually when you figure out that road speed and your RPMs, that's where it really starts clicking and getting smooth.

I would I know in Alabama we have to send the CDL division of the dmv a copy of our medical. Card I would post a pic of it dk how to bulr info out
There is not an option for that on the card. I better make sure to check it out on Monday. It's kind of weird. My examiner was approve as well so it's kind of strange that the card doesn't have it.

Sounds good but dont forget as a owner operator. You will have to cover your own repairs.

On your card it should say CDL yes or no beside it should say only for interstate. Yes or no if its marked no then its not for your CDL

Off set backing
To me its hard to explain. But remember. When your backing it takes the. Trailer to correct when you correct your steering tires..
