Blood pressure test no worries!

I'm 57 and got my CDL back in 1988. Time sure flies when a guys having fun. I'll make this short. I'm one of those guys that have always worried about BP test. Even saw my heart Doctor to try to figure it out. Had ecocardiogram all the testing Doc said all looked great. I asked him why my BP was normal 125,/75 all day long except for in the clinic and especially taking my CDL test.He said I had a bad case of white coat syndrome. Well I had this most my life and getting older didn't help. I was just plan sick and tired of all these doctors throwing BP med's at me for years cuz I was testing high just in the clinic. Let me tell you there are a lote of dumb Doctors out there and most of them are way to eager to through BP pill at ever problem. Well after seeing my heart doctor I went and saw my usual Doctor he saw all the testing form my hear Doc and my at home testing and even several BP tests I had been taking in my truck even after coffee were all good. He said I got preformane anxiety. He prescribed me ATENOLOL it's a Bata blocker it slows your heard down it's like a governor for your heart keep the RPM's in check. My Doctor prescribed me 25mg to take as needed for anxiety. Now if you get some from your doctor do not let him say there for BLOOD PRESSURE remember there for anxiety. Reason, if your on BP med's your limited to one year on your CDL exam. So here's what I did to curb my white coat syndrome while taking the test took me 25 years to figure me out so here ya go. Remember this is just me and everybody is different. I took 10mg of lisinioril 5 days leading up to the test, last dose 6 hours before test, takes this one 6 hours to kick in. 10mg of this is a very low dose all it does it help relax blood vessels. Then the night before the text I took 100mg of ATENOLOL just to get it in my system and starting to work, this one here takes three hours to kick in. So my my test was at 11am so I took my last dose of lisiipril at 5am and one more dose of ATENOLOL at 8am. I took 150mg of it just make sure I'd pass it. My BP test for my CDL exam was 125/72 heart rate 57 beats per minute. Best BP test I ever had at the clinic for exam and got it for two years. I belive just the ATENOLOL would have been good but I kinda used the lisinioril for extra Ins. Cuz it was in the cupboard.

How to lower blood pressure before DOT physical

Just wanted to share a few things that may help you lower bp for testing. Read about this for your self to. Olive leaf extract, natural ace inhibitor. Celery seed extract. Natural cortisol blocker. Lemon balm. Will calm your anxiety and realax blood vessels and help slow your heart rate. Magnesium relaxes blood vessels L-Arginine relaxes blood vessels L-theanine will also reduce your anxiety calming effect. I'm currently taking all twice a day. With pretty good results. I'v heard but never tried 20 oz of beet juice 2 hrs before test works also. But the other stuff above I have been trying for three weeks and my bp has been down to 115/72 sitting in my living room watching tv its normally 138/87 or abouts. What seems to make a big difference along with the olive leaf extract and celery seed extract twice daily, is the lemon balm but seem like the lemon balm can take two hours to work well. Also lemon balm you could build up a tolerance so three weeks on and one off then back on. But do your own home work I have been doing mine for years and this is what has been working for me just thought its my duty to pass on info that might help a fellow driver. Also could take up to two month for natural stuff to work so dont just try for a week or two and give up with the olive leaf and celery seed especially. After 2 month and nothing then probably not your stuff. Also a little cardio work out and this goes a long way. Good luck.
