I appreciate that. I'm just looking at all my options out there in the trucking world. Just wanted to weigh out all my options that are available to me including coal trucks. I do know someone who drove them once. Said that if he kept driving one he would have needed to sign up for welfare and foodstamps, lol. I guess that's why they never say anything is because it's that bad.

That's the thing, though. No one really talks about it even the companies. You can even ask the drivers and they all say the same things. We get paid per load. It's like they're afraid to admit to how much that they do get paid.

I was wanting to know if anyone knew anything about coal truck driving. I live in an area that has tons of coal production, which means the need of truck drivers. Since i'm about to go to school in the matter of weeks. I was just curious if anyone knew how much they make, cause it's based on per load. Cause no matter how many times I look it up or ask someone they never can give me the answer i'm looking for.

I'm about to enroll into school in about another month, and i'm going to a Community College for my training. I'm needing to get a drug test & a physical. I was just curious what all they have to check me for in my physical such as blood pressure and ETC.
