My name is Robert Schroder. I have lived in Michigan for most of my life with an exception of a brief stint of 3 years in Pennsylvania. I have spent most of my adult life working in automotive factories. I could not stand punching the same clock twice a day, standing in the same spot on assembly lines all day with people who have no business being in management breathing down my neck. I always knew that there was no way I would be working like this until I retired. In my earlier years I worked truck stops in my area and interacted with the drivers every day. Just like when I was a kid, I knew that someday, driving truck is something that I wanted to do. Now that my kids are grown and living on their own, at the age of 43 I am taking the leap of making that dream a reality and I can't wait to get on the road!

HI Scott... I am based in Michigan. Trying to find a training school that would be best. After reading a mind bending amount of info at Trucking Truth I came across the company called Driver Solutions who say they guarantee employment after completion of CDL course.
