Wifi

It has worked for me for over four years. It's only 45 dollars for unlimited talk text and data and I just plug phone into laptop and it works great. I just plugged it in today and turned off my wifi at house and used mobile data connection and have been watching Netflix. It gives out 4glte for certain time then 3g at end of month but it is working fine.

Nerves setting in

I still have til tues. Morning until orientation. Nerves have set in already. God, I want to drive a semi so bad!!!!!!! I want to be able to be out going across state to state. I'm 42, I'm single now, and I have nobody around. I want to get out on the road and enjoy that time whether it's good or bad. I know there will be ups and downs but I can always stop and say I drive a big rig and not many can say that for a living. I will be proud to say I drive across this country and see things and do things others will never get to do. I want this in my life more than anything else I can imagine! I just hope and pray I get through this orientation and road trip and the sqt! Only then can i say I drive a big rig. I won't be a full trucker yet but I will have that ability to say after a few years under my belt. I want all of you to stay safe today and tonight and I will only ask you to think about me next week while I start this awesome journey. I will post each day and then post when I go solo.

Wifi

Thanks for the ideas I really appreciate them very much! I hope I'll be doing more load hauling than watching internet. But first I have to get through schneider orientation and the driving before I can worry about anything else.

Yep, straight talk is at Walmart and uses verizon and att towers it is 45 dollars A month card up to 130 A month for 3 months. Just buy a card once a month or every 3 months type in number on back and you are good to go. I have been everywhere and never dropped a call. They have all kind of phones and you can even use your own phone if it's unlocked from the carrier or yo u don't have a contract with anyone

Wifi

Anyone here use there phone as a wifi hotspot for their laptop computer while their on the road? I have heard that wifi is pretty bad at all the truckstops. Any help with this would be appreciated! I'm thinking of rooting my phone to use it as a hotspot since I use straight talk and I buy the 45 dollar unlimited talk text and data plan.

Backing AGAIN!

Shoney's use to have a big boy out in front of all their stores but somebody here decided to try and steal one so they got rid of the shoney's big boys round here. How dI'd someone think they wouldn't have been noticed with a huge big boy in the back of a pickup truck. Lol
