I did call for you a few times, forgot to mention that.
I was able to breeze around 285 without a hitch. Safe travels, I'll keep my eyes peeled for you when I'm on the east coast.

08/24/17 at 1500 est on I-85 southbound in Georgia heading toward Atlanta, I spotted a SAPA truck operated by Knight pulling one of those covered Flatbed's. Now earlier in the day I had just skimmed thru an old thread on this site that Old School had posted a bunch of pictures of himself. Old School, was this you I saw out on the road?

Trucking companies in the North East
I can tell you about Prime because that's all I know. We have northeast regional drivers who are on a guarantee of 1200 a week. Those guys don't have to worry about miles or anything. We also have a few dedicated customers that we serve up in that area who are on the same pay scale. We offer flatbed OTR. I see some TMC day cabs up in the Massachusetts area from time to time. They are exclusively a flatbed company so that may be something you want to look into more. I've logged the majority of my miles up in the northeast and I'd say you have plenty of options.

My update from the Prime Inc Tanker division
Yeah man, I've got a question for you. I ran reefer with prime and am currently doing flatbed. One of my big reasons for making the switch to flatbed was because it's all daytime work. I love that I can sleep every night. What are the operating hours of a tank driver? I wouldn't mind pulling one of our tankers down the road one day so I'd like to know what the life is like.

I like using mine in the cafe on a good Ruban sandwich. I think you can use them at the company store as well.

Pittsburgh training can someone give me information about places.
I work for Prime and I have a friend here as well who lives in Pittsburg. He runs a dedicated account out of Chambersburg, PA and this allows him to get home about once a week or once every other week just depending on the season like if the freight is slow then they are able to get him home more often than the busy season. I know nothing of the other companies or what they offer, so all I can do is speak of Prime. But at Prime if you get tired of OTR and would like to get home maybe a little more often then our dedicated account in Chambersburg could be a good option for you.
