Cr England

Just wondering if anyone here got their training through CR England and how their experience was? I know that all the companies have a lot of good and bad if you just do a general search of them so I was hoping to get some insight here.

Should he go?

My husband is a very hard worker but just needs the push to know he can do this. He is an amputee so that comes with its own extra hurdles to even obtain a license. He is going with cr england so it's a 9 month commitment, he eventually would like to end up driving for penske. He just needs support because he had a hard enough time getting back into the working field after his amputation but now I'm pushing him to look beyond just a mediocre job and find a real career.

Should he go?

My husband is really interested in going to get his cdl and has been accepted to a company sponsored cdl program. But he's also hesitant to go because he would be leaving behind me and our 5 month old son during the training program since it's located a state away. He doesn't want to miss out on the milestones. I recognize this is a good opportunity for him since we can't afford to send him to a local program and he really needs a career focus. What kind of words of wisdom could I give him to feel more comfortable about going for this training?

Skilled Performance Evaluation Certificate

I wonder if I could complete it and send it in for processing right before I set up to leave? To try to offset the delay. I am planning on doing company sponsored training so I don't know what they would do with me during that waiting period

Skilled Performance Evaluation Certificate

So if I'm supposed to be leaving for training how does the spe play into that? Do I have to have it completed or just the medical exam? The doctor I spoke to who's associated with cr England made it sound like they had a portion they would need to fill out once I began school to make the application complete. How does this extra certificate fit into leaving for school?

Call the number that associates with the region you fall under. They can email you the packet you'll need to fill out (its around 20+ pages) . There's information for you to fill out and for an Orthopedist to fill out as well after their exam. Once that gets processed, you'll receive your training certificate and then get scheduled with a certified SPE examiner who will put you through the entire CDL exam. Once you pass their exam, you'll receive the actual certificate and then you can go to the DMV to test for your license.

It's a pain and make sure the paperwork is correct or it will delay you even more. The entire process can take 4-8 weeks.

Skilled Performance Evaluation Certificate

I already read this site and it doesn't answer my question

I found this page at the FMCSA website Service Centers Depending on what state you are from you go to Atlanta, GA or Matteson, IL. There is a lot of info on their website.

Skilled Performance Evaluation Certificate

I am about to enter my cdl school and I'm aware that I will need a SPE certificate but I'm a little confused. Do I need to have the medical evaluation completed before I start or is this something they handle when they send me for my dot physical? I am an amputee. If I need to go with this medical evaluation done before I get my permit what is the easiest way to get the evaluation done? I'm not followed my an orthopedic surgeon or anything regularly so I'm concerned it will take a long time to get an appointment with someone.
