Trucking nightmare?

double-quotes-start.png

Waiting for my schooling to start, have never been in a semi, but had a dream that I was driving. NO more youtube videos before I go to sleep

You will definitely have more dreams once you get with a company.

Dave

Trucking Blog, from school to the road and more

So, I started a standalone blog for my experiences with Celadon's school, orientation, and (eventually) my experiences as a new and leanring driver on the road. I fully plan to make this site a long-term thing. I'm not sure if I am allowed to share links here, so if I am not, I will just drop some excerpts here form time to time so I can keep in touch with some of you here at TT (no, I'm not leaving TT... I used to run websites for a living so to have my own site for my trucking life is only natural lol)

Truckingtruth.com wants to use your computer's location. [allow] [deny] :)

I see you shining, Brett!

The trucker tracker will be something I'd have fun with, but how bout some Android love? I refuse to become an iTurd.. I mean.. .and iThing user :)

I head out to the road with my trainer tomorrow! I'm not sure what happened to the other guy that met from here that went to Celadon's school with me, I havent seen him in 2 weeks and I know he hasn't gotten his Class A yet... :/

Tinnitus

My hearing test was done as a whisper from about 20 feet away.

DEER SEASON! Truck drivers, have you hit one yet?

Its a bit different driving a car at night compared to driving the truck, however i do pay attention to the sides of the road looking for those two green or amber glows from my headlights, indicating an animal.

So I stopped by the house...

Just wanted to stop in here to laugh a little at that picture and congratulate Daniel for his moderator status which I didn't see last time I was here :)

My days at trucking school. Page 1

Hey Joe!

Just wanted to see what happened with you since your last post. I remembered you are with Celadon and wondered how things are going for you!

Pre-trip inspections

Thanks, I've seen those resources and have checked them out. I'll continue looking at them but I've just been reassured that I am definitely a hands on person, not a pen on paper person. Lol. I'm tempted to bug one of the truckers that part at my hotel tonight to see if they mind me going over the external pre trip

Where are you from man?

In my opinion, your best bet is to get your ID and everything to show your current address because it's going to be less time wasted down the road when you could be studying for your CDL
