so I medically retired out of the Army a little over a year ago, and right after I went on terminal leave, I took two hits off of a bowl because I was, well free again. I dont remember exactly when it was Somewhere between April 2015 and July 2015. Anyways I did my thing, and about a month and a half ago I went through a CDL school and got my Class A. Today i showed up for orientation and they told me I was getting a hair test. Now i grew my hair out a little and buzzed it because i was lazy, grew it back out, buzzed it again, and now i grew it all out again. Now obviously I am freaking out because I had no intentions of getting a cdl when i did it, and now its about a year later and had a test done. What do you think the actual probability of me getting a positive result back, and what happens to my CDL after this if i pop hot?

Well they told us they should have all results back tomorrow morning from their lab. We shall see what they find. Of course the panic in me is rising, just because thats my nature. I am praying for the best, but expect the worse...

If you're being honest and it was two hits that long ago, 0% chance it comes back positive

I even told the company upfront about it, I have integrity issues, meaning its hard for me to lie about things. I dont trust myself to make up lies, lol they are too hard to remember. But anyways i told them about it before i took the hair follicle test. they were like why are you telling us? well just in case, i want to be honest

If your test comes back positive.it doesn't affect your CDL. What it will do is block you out of getting a job in the industry.

If you're being honest with yourself about the time frame, and the two hits were all you've done, then I think you'll be okay. It's hard to say exactly.

Please let us know your results. I'm hoping you dodged a bullet, because you do not want a positive D.O.T. drug test.

I agree. I mean I know it was in that time frame, albeit a large time frame. I even asked my wife (she didnt do any) and she could remember exactly when but knew it was in that time frame. oh well. I guess I will hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
