First Incident as a new Driver. Will I get fired?

Report it, take pictures. Own up to it. He might had been speeding but sounds like you didn't have your truck under control. I wasn't there, but why did you swerve? Slow down, stop and let them pass. Then safely move. Good luck, think you be fine. Maybe have to watch some safety videos.

I-80 in Wyoming, rolling shutdowns

They opened it up around 14:30 yesterday. It was hammer down both directions. I'm governed at 67 so I stayed in the right lane.

I-80 in Wyoming, rolling shutdowns

Been sitting since 11:00 am yesterday. New update just said another 14-16 hours. But I was checking National weather service site and they said it could be dangerous winds until tomorrow night. I'm headed Eastbound sitting in a rest area. At least I've got food and water.

Pairing the Sleeper Berth

double-quotes-start.png

Hmmm. We have that too No one ever did explain what it was for. So I looked it up, what I fou d basicly said it was for Drivers in Canada??

double-quotes-end.png

Never heard it was for Canada. Prime did a video about it explaining but they made it sound like only a 2/3 would pause the 14. Not true. I have taken longer in off duty and paused the 14 as well.

Compliance lady told me about it a month ago. Comes in handy

Setting at the terminal in Kansas City getting my truck fixed. Couple of days ago I have a warning come on saying adaptive cruise fault failure. Next thing I knew traction control light came on, ABS light came on. I tried cycling the key to reset the computer but that didn't work. Stopped a the kenworth dealer to see if they can clear the codes. He told me that's not going to work once that warning comes on things start shutting down. But he couldn't get me in for 5 days. I dropped my load with another driver and headed for The terminal. Been here for 8 hours waiting on sensor's to be replaced. Then I'm off to Rochelle Illinois a meat load.

My truck is a 2019 KW have 335,000 miles on it and have had alot of electronic issues, transmission 3 times, now this...
