Speeding ticket. should i just pay it or go to court?

Ok, the first picture is where i turrned right from spruce on to collins street. the second picture is where the school zone sign is. its about 500 from spruce street( you can see the little building in both pictures) the last picture is of the interesction where i turned left, onto oak street but away from the school, this is why i think he pulled me over outside of the school zone. note that between spruce street(first pic) and oak street(last pic) there isnt a single school zone sign, even though there are 3 more streets in this space.

GET A LAWYER.

FIGHT EACH AND EVERY TICKET.

But let's uncomplicate this.

RADAR/LASER?

Were you speeding at the aforementioned location - or is that where the stop was made?

Beating the ticket based on physical address usually isn't a factor - unless you were ACTUALLY NOT IN A LOCATION WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MARKED SCHOOL ZONE.

If it gets to a TRIAL, then it's your word against the officers, whether or not you were in the controlled speed zone when he clocked you.

And typically - the officer wins these battles.

Rick

its was LIDAR, the stop was made on oak street, just outside the school zone, i believe. i began speeding at spruce. i would have to look but i dont think i was within the boundries of the school zone.

first off, i am not a trucker, but i need some advice. to start my state law reads as follows:(b) Except when a special hazard exists that requires lower speed for compliance with subsection (a) of this section, the limits specified in this subsection or established as otherwise authorized shall be maximum lawful speeds and no person shall drive a vehicle on a highway at a speed in excess of maximum limits:

(i) Twenty (20) miles per hour when passing a school building, the grounds thereof, within any other area or space in the vicinity of a school designated by an official traffic control device as a school zone with a reduced speed limit or a school crossing if appropriate signs giving notice of a reduced speed limit are erected; with that said, i pulled out onto collins drive (4 lane main road) from a very well used city street (two lane road). this street is about 500 feet away from a school zone sign. the regular speed limit on this road is 30, and thats what i was doing exactly, but through a school zone. now, on oak street, there is a school zone sign(about 5 blocks down from spruce) on my ticket, it says:LOCATION: Collins Drive & Oak. The defendant did unlawfully commit the following offense against the peace and dignity of the state of Wyoming. 30 MPH in 20 MPH ZONE. as said before, this actually occured at collins drive and spruce, not oak. ill be attaching google street view pics to help make sense of this. thanks for reading my long winded and probably over complicated post.
