Sitting at the Loves in Memphis In looks like a brake chamber blew apart on my meet guy before he got to me.

Congratulations! You are CEO

Congratulations!! You have been promoted to CEO!! What are some of the first things you change? What do you change overtime?

I'd move the requirement for 4 weeks of vacation from 15 years to 10. Plus I would give everyone in the company a extra week than they already have.

Secondly, I ld add stop pay for any stops outside the main one. So if you go to Indy then have to stop in Lafayette then Chicago you would be paid for the 2 additional stops, plus the standard mileage and drops/hooks.

Not disclosing a rollover during hire

I would come clean, they will probably find out sooner rather than later. Once you do they will probably immediately fire you. They may even find out about it before you start, as some companies run a new report just before orientation.

Company Teams Only at Prime

Well that was short lived. The Director of Reefer Division stated that it was only a temporary move due to equipment and slot availability. Drivers are once again able to go solo.

I think the change back was a more "we have received overwhelming negative feedback" situation.

The TruckingTruth Meet Up Thread

The wife and I are going to the midwest in Sept. and I will be looking for any members that are in the areas we stop in.

I am available Mondays if you make it close to Chicago. If you can stop at the Loves in Morris IL its new and has the RV park you can probably run into several members around there.

Walmart Private Fleet YouTube channel

I too subscribed. You have a good calm presence, it's nice to see a straight video without all the BS.

Don't forget us little guys if you make it big

New guy here, which carrier is best

Having not driven for any of the 3 I'd take Swift and then Schneider. Western Express is a last resort company imo ( I know some people here will not like hearing that). Swift generally seems to have the best equipment of the 3.

I'd like to hear from some LP drivers...

Glad you had a good week, keep it up. 👍

"Keep my eye on the prize and just concentrate on driving and nothing else."

Yes sir. Do that and your first year will fly by.
