The point is you have no DAC because you never drove commercially. Leave whenever you want. You will wait for two weeks and find nothing on it.

Its like saying "I've never been a lawyer but I'm waiting for the Bar Association to inform me of any ethics violations against me.".

What old.school said...and for future reference...companies usually don't report on your DAC until you leave. So say you go to Prime for six months then apply elsewhere...until you quit prime wouldn't report to DAC.

I say be honest. I work for Prime and they dug stuff up that I forgot about AND was no where near as bad as what others had. But they found it. Wasn't even an arrest but they found it and at first accused me of lying but I think that was to see my reaction.

yes I been honest with recruiter about every job i had exact dates i had to go get , my only worry was going to orientation and a fail drug test appear on my dac from a pre employment drug screen that i did at the airport . so i ordered a dac report and delayed my date to leave after the dac report gets here i would have left this monday but now i have to wait two weeks so my dac report gets here . everything else from job history to misdemeanor cases i reported everything to prime my recruiter andrea

You can attend CDL school but that doesn't mean after you spend thousands of dollars for it that a company will hire you. Which is one of the reasons I recommend company sponsored programs for people with blemishes in their record.

Each company policy is different but the question on the application may be "have you ever failed a drug test"... That means ever. Not just CDL.

Failed drug tests are a huge deal in trucking.

im trying to work for prime go threw their schooling . just waiting to see if its comes out on my dac report have to delay the day and the fail was for the airport but I did get hire to other airport job after that fail.

Chances are - if it was in a NON SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION - it wasn't reported anywhere.

Obviously, if it was a PRE-EMPLOYMENT test - you didn't get the job - so you won't be putting it in your work history.

If you failed a test, applying to McDonalds - then it likely wasn't reported anywhere. Where were you applying when you dropped hot?

Now - we NEVER ADVISE SOMEONE TO LIE on an application. But this might squeak by.

As others have advised - I wouldn't spend $$ on a non-company school, only to find out later that it does come up somewhere. If you're going to try and get in somewhere, and not disclose - go for a company that does training, that way, the only thing you will lose, is the time it took to take the bus to orientation and the $$ to pay for the bus home if you get bounced.

That's subjective. Many companies do hair testing - so you'd better be clean awhile, before attempting to do a hair test.

just ordered my DAC report if is not there then ill go to prime so going to have to call recruiter and ask for more time i was suppose to leave this monday but now I have to wait for that DAC report . but I have gotten other jobs at the airport .

Thank you all rick s I was applying at the airport !!! and this is the only thing that worries me dont want to go to prime with a doubt so ill wait , it really sucks not to know and is not part of my job history but dont want to risk my career just like that.

im trying to go to prime or swift but really want to go to prime . Ill just have to deal with my mistakes and wait .

IF I FAILED A PRE EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST IN THE PAST FOR A COMPANY NOT RELATED TO DRIVING CAN I STILL ATTEND A CDL SCHOOL NOW THAT IM CLEAN ?
