I am new to the trucking industry. I have owned a Farmers Insurance Agency, an NYPD restaurant and worked a number of jobs. I am studying the CDL and looking forward to getting my license. I have been researching the industry and am appalled by what I see. Stagnant wages, unfair business practices, the worst turnover of any industry I have ever looked at. Why someone would want to be a driver is beyond me.
