I got a call a few hours ago from fleet net saying my truck was fixed. I got a ride to it and they had not even looked at it. I waited anyhow to find out what was wrong with it and they seemed unsure after looking it over. They said I had about 20 error codes on the transmission clutch actuator not sure when it will be fixed or even if they will have to pull the trans or not. Guess I’m home for Easter

Anyone out here experience any issues with a DT-12 Transmisison popping into neutral then though it errors that indicate sensor or trans air pressure to low? The truck in question has under 80k miles on it.

Completed Maverick Student program
Here is an update. As many of you know I went to orientation at Maverick on Feb. 4, 2018. I did the orientation and flatbed securement classes. Then I went out with a trainer. Maverick does not believe in team driving or training as teams. The first few days I was just a passenger then I got a lot of road time in. I was in the trainer truck till March 15 when they routed me back to Little Rock for evaluation which began Sunday and I was assigned a 2018 Freightliner Cascadia on Tuesday afternoon. I am currently doing my first solo load from Malverne Arkansas to Fairmont, West Virginia 46 miles MT 898 loaded miles. I am pretty happy with my decision to go with them at this point. It was very hard work though.

Please correct me if Im wrong but I was under the impression the OP stated his license was suspended for a financial responsibuility which came from an accident he was involed in while not insured. My understanding of that type of suspension is the OP had a judgement placed against him 30 days after a hearing. The state in which he resides suspended his license until it is paid. There was not set amount of time given for his suspension other than that.
The reason it has not been reinstated simply because the bill has not been satisfied. Now he is filing bankruptcy to have the judgement removed which would satisfy that financial obligation.
In my case NJ suspended me because i was behind on child support not because of a ticket or driving infraction. Then when the child support was paid in full they would not reinstate it till I paid them a reinstatement fee even though at the time they suspended me and the time I got it reinstated I did not hold a NJ license.
How is back child support suspension so different than the OP financial responsibuility suspension?

Im not sure if ot would hurt you or not. What is the first record they look at when vetting a candidate? The Driving Record. The OP doesn't have one for the last 10 years. Of course this will affect his chances.
Gtown I know the first thing a company looks at is driving record. I also know once a person is granted a license in a state that number is never reassigned to another driver. People are not supposed to be able to have multiple drivers licenses either and part of the concept of the CDL was to prevent that. Now i recently had an experience where my CDL was suspended in NJ since 2006.I had no idea it was like that. The entire time I held my PA CDL. I renewed it and obtained learners permits added endorsements, medical cards, got tickets went to court, registered cars, without anyone saying anything along the way. Oh did I forget to mention I was also working as a school bus driver. My recruiter at Maverick. was the one to tell me and as soon as I found out I took care of it to reinstate it in that state. I never lost my CDL in PA. As soon as i paid the fee for NJ to reinstate it my recruiter ran my mvr again and offered orientation and securement training as well as going out with a trainer before I go solo.
So for you to comment back to me like im some sort of an idiot for not knowing if his license suspension would effect his abuility to be accepted to company based training is kind of offensive.

Im not sure if ot would hurt you or not. It seems that while your lic was suspended a long time you did not indicate if that lentgh of time was ordered or if it was simply suspended that long because you simply did notpay dmv their fees.
I would not go to second chance companies first. As you know it is sispended I would hey it reinstated first then. I would simply look at the companies available to find the best match then apply to them. If its a problem they will tell you. Look for the best fit for you. To me training was very important. I went to Maverick not knowing my license was suspended in another state till the recruiter told me. Asked on here and old school told me to simply pay the reinstatement fee. I did and a few days later the recruiter ran my license again it ead cleared and after one minor paperwork issue i was approved to go to orientation and flatbed securement training. Maverick also offers a program to help people get their cdl as well and i believe it is only a six month commitment. They never run teams at maverick because they believe that you dont learn if you or your instructor are sleeping while the other driving.
