So I’m a limo driver in Colorado. My employer offered me more pay if I pay to get my CDL Class B with air brakes and passenger endorsements to drive their busses. All of their vehicles only require a class b cdl with air brakes. This is a good investment for me as I can recoup training cost fairly quickly.
Let’s say if I wanted to go for my Class A CDL and get air brakes, combination. I know that I would have to take my road skills test in a class A tractor trailer.
The question is would I have to take a separate road skills test in a commercial passenger vehicle as I would have to complete the skills test in order to get the P on my CDL?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
