Just by the way you've worded your post...

I want to know tha good and bad about the company...

indicates to me that you have been doing a fair amount of research online and have discovered that this is the most common way that truck drivers seem to share information with each other about trucking jobs. The big, and I mean really big, problem with doing online research like this, where you just throw open the floor for any and every knucklehead out there to give you an opinion, is that you learn absolutely nothing. Oh, I am aware that there seem to be some people who are foolish enough to think that they can run some sort of high level algorithms in their head that somehow deciphers the B.S. and manages to put together a "clear" understanding of what all the people who don't really know a damn thing are saying, but the reality is that there is absolutely no reality to this method - it is a total waste of time and effort, and it about the only thing it produces is more anxiety.

So, as a flat-bed driver with tons of great experience, and one who has traveled extensively across this great country and seen and talked with plenty of Cypress drivers, let me give you the "good and the bad about the company" as I have seen it from my perspective.

The Good:

-They are going to train you!

-They are going to help you start a new chapter in your life - a new career that it both exciting and rewarding!

-They are going to pay you based on your level of productivity! (I'll bet you've never had that kind of benefit at that factory)

-They are going to provide you and your family some very valuable benefits!

-They are going to allow you to distinguish yourself and excel at your job, competing with their other employees for the top pay!

-They will provide you with all you can possibly do as long as you are up to the challenge!

-They are going to put you into a really cool big rig and allow you to see the country all while on their dime!

-They are going to allow you to measure out your own success and determine on you own how much money you earn!

-They are going to maintain your equipment well and keep you rolling down the road in some top quality equipment!

-They are going to provide you with job security!

-They are going to provide you with a ton of pre-tarped loads, saving you a lot of time and effort that other flat-bedders endure!

There's a lot more that I could list, but I'm running out of time and I need to move on to the bad stuff...

The Bad...

You see Amos, I love this business, and I think there are a lot of fools out here spouting all kinds of nonsense about it. The best thing to do with them is ignore them and create your own view of things based on not only the truth, but also on your own experience. Getting started in trucking is no walk in the park, and that is why you see so many ignorant responses to questions like you asked. 95% of the people who tell others of us how bad it is to be a truck driver have never had any success at it at all - they were failures and they want to blame their own shortcomings on a company that tried like crazy to help them succeed.

Take some time my friend and do a little reading in our starter kit. It will serve you well, and you will be able to make a much better start at it if you will pay attention to the sage advice and information that is abundantly provided in there.

I will start training with Cypress Truck Lines and I want to know tha good and bad about the company. Either way, I'm going to train with them cause I hate my factory job
