Burnt My leg - looking for advice (including pics of the burn)

Don’t drive motorcycles

Wasn't even driving them, I was simply letting them warm up to ensure the battery didn’t t die rofl-3.gif rofl-3.gif

Yeah it was pretty bad there for a day or two, where I actually thought it might be infected. I wasn't able to get by a Walmart the first few days to buy the stuff I needed.

But funny enough, I already planned to wrap it up at night and let it air out while I was driving. rofl-3.gif

Damn Jamie! I've had combat wounds that looked better than that!

Keep a close eye on it. Keep it clean, let the bad stuff ooze, air it out as much as you can during the day, then a fresh clean wrap on it nightly. Hydrogen peroxide a few times daily if it allows, too.

Phone charging cords

What’s happening to them? I’ve had the same charger for over a year now, and my original charger still works as well.

Do you bend them a lot?

Jamie, how did this happen? Can you put anything like antibiotic cream on it and a bandage, even Vaseline? Then get into an urgent care facility.

I burned it on my motorcycle exhaust while I was home, I have two motorcycles and I started them up before coming back out on the road, I was squeezing between the bikes when I got to close, my leg touched the exhaust for literally 1 second and got a second degree burn.

The doctor said it’s a second degree burn, but it isn’t infected, and told me to keep doing what I’m doing now which is using Neoaporin and covering it up, it’ll leak for a bit since it’s a open wound and to come back in if there are any signs of infection, etc.

I do not, outside of my DOT physicals, I haven’t been to the doctor since 2014. Terrible I know, but I don’t usually go unless I really need to.

Do you have a family Dr.? If you do, send the photo to them.

I’ll go to an urgent care place, I’m 215 miles from my delivery then 14 miles from our terminal in willamar, tx where I can use a company car to go.

Burnt My leg - looking for advice (including pics of the burn)

I burnt my leg during my last home time and I know some of you used to be nurses, so was hoping if someone can tell me if the wound is healing or looks like it’s getting worse.

Yesterday after I didn’t take care of it for a week. 0361121001642868662.jpg

After cleaning it up, I put some bandage on it over night and some antibacterial cream

Truck Broke Down - After Treatment Problems

You are lucky to get a sensor they are hard to come by still.

Funny enough, I had the nox sensor replaced just a month earlier then his time. So I must have been pretty lucky

Jamie leaves us hanging....

What was the problem that the shop found with your truck?

I’m known to leave people hanging with no updates. rofl-1.gif

After 3 and a half days I did get my truck back, they just replaced the nox sensor yet again and did some recall part that was unrelated to the problem. I was on my way, so far no problems.

They thought it might have been something else but turns out it wasn’t.
