Preventable

So I locked my keys in my truck and my company had to call a (towtruck)locksmith out to open my truck $110.50. My DM calls me and says that I had a preventable accident. Says the company will cover $50.00 of the bill and I cover rest which is fine but why go down as a preventable. No cops called.

My question is: is this normal company policy & will it be on my dac & psp report?

Thanks

Butane cooking

Can some one tell me what are the fmcsa/dot laws of having a one burner butane stove in my truck for cooking. Legal or not, running out of options. My does not allow hardwired power inverters. I will not be here long. 12v options just not enough.

Thanks for the info. Where does the trainee have to sleep, top bunk or floor. I've heard a couple of floor answers.

Stevens Transport: out with a trainer

I am getting ready to start my training with Stevens Transport. I just wanted to if someone could tell what I really need to take on the truck with my trainer. If anyone has any real answers, please let me know. Since space is limited I don't want to take what is not necessary.

Thanks
