First of all good evening ladies... I have a question... A problem... At this point im at a loss. So my guy has several years of trucking experience. He cant find work and we are in a situation. Im wondering how hard is it really to find trucking employment? Its putting a strain on everything. I graduated Nursing school in July and unfortunately life has happened so I have to put off my test until we re settle. But im very confused to how to go about this... Any advise would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hard Time
It says a whole helluva lot... Thank you very much... Just making sure im not crazy... Thank you have a great day
A guy with several years of safe driving and on time delivery can write his ticket to any company he wants. That means there is something in his DMV, medical, or criminal record preventing him from getting hired....or he just isnt looking.
The other option is that because he hasnt driven in a long time, companies want him to go through training all over again and he doesnt want to.
And there is nothing YOU can do about it. This is something only he can do. If he was concerned or trying then he would be the one writing to us. anytime i see a woman writing about her mans career here it makes me cringe. I understand how you feel, but trucking is about personal responsibilty and decision making. if he cant make a decision to get the job, he cant do the job.
and if he does, you will be back asking how to get him more miles and pay cause his evil company wont give him the miles.
this is not a trucking issue, its relationship issue. by writing you proved you dont trust him to.find a job or find the resources to ask, but you did. you, who have never driven found a great website with lots of resources,....but he didnt google. so what does that say?
