Question about number of Skills Test attempts in Texas.

If it's anything like Arkansas, you'll only have 3 attempts over all. I know in Arkansas it cost $50 for 3 tries.

Thank you Jamie

Question about number of Skills Test attempts in Texas.

Hey guys, I'm new here, and let me say I have gotten much useful information by simply reading posts on this forum. However I have a question I couldn't quite get the answer I was looking for in the Texas CDL Manual/Website.

I know I have 3 total attempts for my skills test.

This upcoming road test will be my 3rd overall attempt, but only my second as far as the road test portion.

So my question is, say I fail (I feel confident I won't), do i have two more attempts at the road portion, or does that count as my third and final attempt.

Or do I get 3 attempts on all 3 portions? Thanks for any clarification. Just didn't know if this is do or die, or if I still as 2 remaining as of right now!

Glad to be here and I'm looking forward to gaining even more information on this forum!

- Mike
