Ankle pain!

ACE are cheap drug store type of products that may give minimal relief. But if you are truly concerned, look into a medical supply store. I twisted my knee last year and the $30 Walmart brace did nothing. The $80 medical supply store brace fit much better and healed so much faster due to better support. They measured my knee for the correct size. Very heloful people.

In Springfield?

Ankle pain!

Before bed and when you wake up - or any time you get a chance - prop your foot up on the opposite knee, grab your foot with your hand, and rotate your foot in circles about 20 times in each direction. All you need is a little bit of tension, dont need to crank it hard. Helps to stretch the muscles, tendons and ligaments in the ankle.

Thanks! I'll definitely do this. Have you ever used any ACE products?

Ankle pain!

Is your seat too high? Quite a few people have mentioned pain in legs and ankles went away after lowering the seat.

I've got a truckload of popcorn on the way for anybody interested. Every topic Smart C ignores everything hes told anyways......

I appreciate you adding to the thread before the popcorn remark. However I dont ignore excellent advice.

Ankle pain!

Hey guys,

Wondering if anyone has specific products they use for their feet/ankles while driving to prevent/deal with pain in that area. I went through intermittent pain during PSD. I didnt drive for a few days and was in pain again just from getting on the pad!

Does “American Truck Driving School” Drug Test?

I’m not worried about other company’s or any other schools. I’m in Oklahoma. With a job waiting for me in North Carolina. I’m trying to start this training ASAP. Did anyone else that went to “American Truck Driving School” undergo a drug test to attend schooling. Or even during.

Why don't you ask someone at American Truck Driving School if they drug test?

double-quotes-end.png

lol - "it would look bad".

Honestly, if it is a question for you, its probably best you stick with telemarketing or fast food for now.

I still get that phone call, almost weekly. the first thing out of their mouth is "what kind of drug testing do you do?"

that's scary.

Now, I sometimes let it slide if it is a minority driver, because I am aware of the false-positives for people with "darker hair" (kinda seems like code for something else...), but... 99/100 times, the person asking that question is probably not going to be a good hire for my company.

There are non minorities with dark hair. There are also A LOT of people who incorrectly think that passing through a room of smoke will cause them to fail a drug test...

Prime Inc TNT students will see increased mileage requirements in training

Also keep in mind that Primes old training program was SIX months. yep, i said that.

As both a trainee and a trainer...i would have killed someone at 6 months. lol

Well..how many miles does the team average during TNT? Is it consistent? A fellow student told me the miles can lack at times. Doesn't sound right.

Prime..Do you need your SS card or not???

Then again it might take two weeks to get it sent out... Hopefully you planned to kick it in the hotel on your own dime for awhile.

Just checked the PDF that was emailed to me upon my passing the drug test. Clearly says you need your SS card if you do not have your birth certificate. Perhaps the webpage is outdated. Sigh.....we'll see.

Prime..Do you need your SS card or not???

ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED

double-quotes-end.png

No it hasn't been answered, it's been dodged with a slew of excuses. You're too tired, you work, the dog ate it, mommy didn't give you a permission slip, who knows what else? I've lost track of all the excuses.

You cannot dodge this truth: You were advised months ago to get all these ducks in a row. What did you do.......

I'm still waiting......

Comprehend that!

If my recruiter was correct all my ducks ARE in a row.

Once they get a load of you, the Recruiter wont get paid........ they'll get FIRED!

They're going to love me. I worked my last shift at my previous job yesterday and people were crying.

Does anyone know when Prime recruiters get paid? When you get your own truck? Just making it to orientation?
