After talking to him more and to the school he has until his test date to learn daily after that they only let him come right before retesting. He memorized the pretrip stuff really easily but for him I think the driving will be harder. Anyway I think it's misleading to say it's a four week program because so far he is taking 8 weeks. I'm just frustrated because financially it's all on me while he's training. I do think the school could do better. Anyway thank you for your advice.

My husband is currently in private cdl training and just finished his fifth week. It's odd to me because he barely has started actually getting behind the wheel even though he got his permit three weeks ago. And he says all they do is move truck back and forth in parking lot. There's three trainees per truck and yesterday he came home early because there was seven trainees on his truck. He says that he can go to the class as long as he needs to to pass but I thought it was a four week class. Shouldn't he be going on the road by now? Does this program seem legit? He doesn't ask questions or clarify anything. I asked him when they won't let him go anymore and he said there's some guys been there weeks and months!
