FedEx apprentice program

Do they have a certified examiner on site ? Or will they send us to the DMV to obtain the CDL ? Thanks for your time !

I talked to fedex before i got my CDL. They said that you need to have 6mos OTR and have a "double/triple" endorsement. They also claimed that I would be home EVERY NIGHT.... but still driving 500 miles per day.. claiming i would not be sent further than 250 miles from home. However, after talking to a few trucker friends, it sounds like you have to be quite experienced to drive for them when it comes to the Class A's. The smaller trucks seem to be easier to get hired for.

Best thing to do is call them and try... but from the info i was given, you need 6mos OTR-- they did not give a minimum miles amount... but that could also be for a specific position for which was being advertised in my area.
