Any schools left that train on manual transmission?

Did you look at C1 in Ft. Worth? I know as of this April they were still training with manual transmissions.

Does “American Truck Driving School” Drug Test?

I didn't attend American Truck Driving School but I read online that they train students for a couple of mega carriers so you might want to play it safe and assume you'll be tested.

DOT physical and prior use of prescription medication

Clem, just stop. You are looking to get away with something. You're fishing for someone to tell you it's ok to lie because it's convenient for you. You have a history of depression, if asked that question the answer is 'yes' whether you like it or not.

Cannabis Testing, Swift, NYC Ban on Cannabis Testing

I am wondering how trucking companies get away with discrimination for those who use prescribed medications? My qualification for Swift was just reversed since I explained to the recruiter that I used marijuana under Doctor's advice for just a few days.

How dumb do you think people are? Let me guess what really happened. You've been smoking for years including during your last driving job, you knew you had to have an explanation for it for Swift so you went to the weed doc to get a script hoping that would cover up your years of toking up. Did you go with glaucoma or back pain?

Yeah, uh huh. You didn't ask for it, the "doctor" made you do it.

Why does this offer come now?

There's no harm in at least talking with him about it. If you love trucking that's one thing but feeling you have to stick with it could potentially limit you.

Prime Upgrade Freeze

Also for anyone who doesn't know, Prime is replicating the main terminal and putting it in Salt Lake City. It too will have indoor courts, spa, gym, theater and much more.

Oh Yeah? Well we have a pond...for a couple of days after it rains. It always ends up between the yard and the drivers lounge.

I'm surprised anyone ever leaves your terminal to do any actual driving.

Leaving For School On Midnight May 4th

Doug, sorry to hear they sent you home but it's not the end of the world. I went to school with 3 people who had the same thing happen to them at CREngland. They all passed and are driving now, 2 with PAM and 1 with Swift although I think the Swift guy may still be in training. Someone else will give you a shot if you want it, CRST's loss.
