Preparing For School With Millis
Thanks sorry its taken me so long to reply. What things should I learn in advance
Hello I am preparing to got to Cartersville, GA in May to train with Millis Transfer. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I just finished up school in Cartersville myself. You will have Steve or Jack as your instructor, they are both excellent instructors and people. It's an accelerated course and you need to be as open as you can be to coaching. Be a sponge, and don't put extra pressure on yourself to be perfect. Strive for excellence not perfection, there is enough pressure with the speed of the class that adding pressure to yourself will just make it harder for you to be open to learning what they want you to know. Good enough is good enough, don't forget who is grading you. While something you do may not meet your expectations, you aren't the one who decides if it's good enough. I can't stress enough to be open to learning, I saw a few people who had serious trouble hearing the instructor because they would be nervous or get irritated because they thought they were doing something right and they were being corrected. Do as instructed. There will be plenty of time to discuss your thoughts or your process with them if needed after. Good luck to you, I am quite thankful for the time I spent there. Couldn't have asked for a better place to learn in my opinion.
Thanks sorry it took me so long to rply. Can you tell me what things I should learn in advance? I would like to prepare as much as possible.
