Birth Certificate and Passport Processing delay woes during Covid. :(

I do not know what Vitalchek is, I was just saying I know on Monday I could go to my county courthouse and for $10 or $15 could have a copy of my birth certificate.

If you know where you were born, what hospital or what county, it is as easy as going to that county seat and getting a copy for about $10. Your birth certificate is already a public record. As for getting a passport that can all be done online but does take time. In the past is a passport was needed in a hurry for travel or other reasons, contacting your representative or senator what get you in touch with someone to help speed process.

Problem at lowes DC

If I was going to go some place I have not been and needed to take a 30 I would ask where to park to take a 30. I am sure what you say is probably the correct and legal way to do things. I personally would go on rest while unhooking and drive slowly to loaded unless a long way away and by the time I was hooked and ready to go my 30 would be used up. It sounds like you were really taking your time and the yard guys were having a bad day both on the same day to me.

Scenario for new drivers

I am not new, been driving for company for over a year and run trucks around farm country for 30. If it was me, 1st call the boss. If he says we gotta get the trailer if at all possible and no way to move the dumpster, I would crank trailer up so it is at heights of 5th wheel so I will not slide trailer back further when backing under then while checking for clearance get under trailer and use my air bags in truck to raise jacks off the ground then slowly pull trailer out. Should not have clearance issues as long as not greater than 90 degrees but check anyway. If I was closer to home I would get a tractor or pickup and chain and drag dumpster ahead.

How long to wait after being off prescription meds?

I would think your best source would be your doctor not a website, no matter how reputable the website is.

Cabin Weight Limits for Personal Belongings

I am not sure about all states but at least through the middle part on the country from north to south you can actually have more than 12,000 on the fronts as long as you have the steer tires for it. Weight up front is based on inches of tire across the road.

Personal tv ps4 and mini fridge

I agree for the most part the 12 volt coolers are not great and have a hard time dealing with outside temperature changes. I am in a different situation than most here I guess. I am home every weekend for sure so I use a 12 volt igloo for drinks and such but for food especially frozen I bought an RTEC cooler, same as a YETI, and put a frozen gallon jug of water in there with my frozen and cold foods for the week and it keeps everything great for the week.

Going local

If you are not worried about clock. I would say get to know your receivers to help you get in and out quick. Most locals have a separate door for ltl picks and deliveries which makes getting in and out easy once you know them. If you are local to MSP then you know the roads suck in the winter. Do you know have the demonstrations subsided or still going on. 2 weeks ago I had to go across town from west to downtown ST. Paul and they had a demonstration out around some bridges on 394 so I went around to the south to stay away from them.

Tank Wash? Trailer Wash?

The biggest problem I see with washouts on trailers is some places also want them dry and I have seen some guys have a terrible time getting them dry enough to be loaded.

Tank Wash? Trailer Wash?

I drive a dry van and only had to do washout once. I had hauled small trees to nurseries in the spring and the trailer was muddy. Went to a Blue Beacon actually and they washed out the trailer. I paid for it myself and was reimbursed by my boss, that's how all of our expenses are covered where I work but can be different everywhere. He was also looking into setting up an account with Blue Beacon to get a discount on truck washes. As far as tank washes I would assume that is all dependent on what was being hauled and what is going to be hauled next.
