Weight distribution

It would be rather long to do so but if you go to cdl practice tests on this site and go to the weight distribution tests page 4,it is question # 2. My answer is #4 but it states answer is #1.

Weight distribution

Weight distribution page 4 question 2 states that answer is #1. Studied this question a hundred times over and still believe #4 is the better answer.Maybe I'm missing something here. Answer 4 puts the weight on trailer tandems and drives closer than answer 1.Both answers equal same weight left for steer axle. Answer 4 also gives more room to fuel up. Help me if I am just not getting this. Thank you.

Drop CDL A?

The company I chose was Wilson Logistics/ Jim Palmer. Has anyone else out there tried this company with this same situation?

Drop CDL A?

Got my cdl A 25 years ago working as a diesel mechanic/relief driver.Did this for 10 years. No schooling. Just did what I had to do. I know this does not by any means qualify me as a driver.I need proper and current training. How I put in the miles I did without incident is beyond me. One particular company with company sponsored training (my company of choice after reading about ALL of their training programs told me I cannot go through their training program because I already have a cdl.I'm not looking for a free ride here. I want their training. I need it. Again,I strongly want to drive for and only them.Would it be a wise move to "turn in" my cdl and start over?Sorry for the long post and any advice is appreciated.

Just wanna drive!

Will do PJ.Did you drive for them any period of time? Were you happy with them for the most part? They seem to me a good company but I know they all have broken promises and guarantees.Nature of the business I truly understand. I grew up around long haul trucking.

Just wanna drive!

I have a class a cdl. Took it just to challenge myself. Only needed a b license. Read the book. Took test one week later.Passed it. No problem there. Just need a company to let me go through their training and spend time on road with trainer.I have not checked with CFI. Only 10 miles from me.Been trying Roehl. Can't get definite answer yet but a possibility. Anybody know if Roehl is a good company?

Just wanna drive!

Got my cdl a 24 years ago when I worked for Waste Management.I was a mechanic but a driver fill in also.I realize this is equal to zero experience. As I apply at trucking companies to take advantage of their paid driver training programs they only want recent graduates or no cdl at all. What gives? I just want to school through them and gain experience. I feel like I'm wrong for already having a cdl! What do you guys recommend here?
