Starting with Celadon- any experiences?

Hmm that's pretty wild. They told me I wouldn't have to sign a contract, my fiance and I are going OTR but that's still concerning 😅

A friend of mine worked there and was recently let go because they lost the contract she was dedicated on. They did offer her OTR but she declined as she needs to be home weekends and a night or 2 during the week.

Starting with Celadon- any experiences?

Hmm well this is concerning. Is there anyone who has worked there recently who can give me an idea of what it's like from a driver's perspective? I just want to get some experience under my belt so if they treat their employees fairly and stay afloat for 6 months to a year, that's all I need.

Starting with Celadon- any experiences?

Just got cleared by Celadon's safety team and should have my plane tickets to their Indy terminal shortly. Any experiences anyone can share? This will be my first time out on the road and my sister (whose been at this for nearly a decade) said they were a good starter company. I also hear they ramped up their pay scale but I'm wondering about consistency of miles. I'd be teaming with my Fiance so anyone whose teamed for them would be especially helpful.

Thanks!

Truckers in Recovery

Hey! I am in AA and have been going to meetings for a few years now. Now that I'm starting this career I was wondering- are there meetings specifically available to truckers? If not does anyone have any experience they can share? I can stick to speakertapes until I get home time but if there's another option that would be great. Thanks!

DoT and my driving scores- a question.

Thanks guys! My scores are apparently in the system, I called the state trooper. My fiance has 2 out of the 3 scores in but she only passed yesterday.

Everything's looking good- can't wait to get on the road!

You're probably going to have to wait for the school but you could contact the Department of Motor Vehicles in the state you tested and see if they can make them available. Just keep badgering the school until you get them. Call them three times a day, every day if need be. They'll relent.

DoT and my driving scores- a question.

I'm also from Arkansas and schooled in Missouri. When I went to the state police headquarters in Little Rock I had to bring my scores, they said they didnt have them in the system yet but they are supposed to already have them.

So I don't have my scores available to me yet (my school is taking their time) But I've gotten a job offer that really works for me and my fiance. Are we going to have to wait on the school or is there another way? Sorry this is all convoluted but I've been in training for over a month now and I'm ready to make money.

DoT and my driving scores- a question.

I just completed my road test at a school in Iowa through DoT testers. My license is out of Arkansas. Will the DMV in my county have those scores on record? Am I able to just pick up my CDL? Sorry in advance, I am very new
