What's your opinion?

Well, cant decide if I want to get back in a truck. 48 and retired and don't NEED the money but would be able to pay **** off faster. Have a chance to drive for a guy I was leased on to and buy a 99 T600 and flatbed together for 22500 and fix it up while driving for him and then go back under my numbers.

Wife wants me to stay home, build my shop, and open up an atv repair shop and work our notary business. Just not sure what the income would be doing that and would need to borrow money to get the shop going.

She is worried about my body with me on the road again because of my back surgery and other ortho surgeries I've had.

I'm really torn 🤷‍♂️. I love trucking and trucks.

What do yall think?

Confused and discouraged

Hi Maria,

My wife is going to be going to school in NOV to drive with me as well so she will be brand new also. We ran into a similar situation with the experience. The only company I found so far willing to allow her to come on and me train her is Carolina Logistics. We are owner ops, but they may work with yall.

Info please ladies

First off, I'm new here. Anyways, a little background. I'm a retired LEO who has been driving on and off for 28 years legally. My lovely wife of 18 years and a nurse of 20 turned in her notice this past week and has decided to go to CDL school at the beginning of Nov. and team with me. Anyways, I have never trucked with a female so I was wanting to know what her and I need to know what to prepare for female wise. Thanks for you advice in advance.
