Yes, I have felt the surge, they want you to go slow. And so far the training has been very good and very in depth. And no greyhound bus tickets, they flew us all out and for the next stage of training at a different location, they rented us a car. No bus tickets. That was a huge deciding factor for me, other than the load and unload pay plus detention pay.

Another great thing about SNBC is that every one of my trainers so far have been hauling bulk and working for them for 15 plus years.

Its chemical tankers in the southeast, they are training us on smooth bore tanks with between half to full load. It is different, they broke us in during Houston rush hour traffic. I like it so far.

Well got an opportunity during school to go to Schneider Bulk. Did some research on them and couldn't really find anything bad. So I took it, they are paying for my tuition reimbursement and I'm currently about to start fourth week of training with SNBC.

Guys, I am upgrading in a few days and am wondering which tools I should have on my truck. I am thinking a socket wrench and combination wrench set, both metric and American. A hammer, a pry bar, and flashlight. And of course, extra fuses and light bulbs. Anything else I should have?
Tread depth gauge and an air pressure gauge a good one if you don't have them already.

Yes I have used the study materials here and aced the permit test. Very good setup here for test prep. The air brakes were fairly easy for me since I already work on them and have a bendixen certification. :)... Sent Brett an email thanking him for setting up such a great resourceful site. And I would like to say thank you to all helpful advice you guys and gals put up here.

So much info on here! :) Which way to my Class A?
Once you get your Class A, Schneider has an excellent tanker program. I'm currently in it and about to finish this week.
