Companies look for people that show good decision making skills. Apply to all the companies that offer paid CDL school and see who is willing to take you. Read the questions on the application carefully and answer them truthfully. If a company feels there is any deception about anything they will reject you.

Were you arrested at all or did the officers submit the report to the prosecutor for review and complaint.

Was it orginally charged as a felony and reduced through the court system.

This occurred in Virginia and they have no expungement here at all. I have already spoken with several lawyers. I have NEVER been in trouble before or after this incident. My record is squeaky clean. When it happened I walked away and they called the police. It was filed as a criminal complaint but they paid to have a warrant pulled out. They came to my home and I complied with everything. I was bailed out that night. They are both class 1 misdemeanors and were not bumped down at all. No I have not been in trouble since either.

It was a stupid decision. I was 34 at the time.

They had threatened bodily harm. But they refused to see what had happened. They said the messages and threats were here say.

I am seriously considering going to classes and getting my CDL. Over 5 years ago I was being harassed really bad over the computer and the perpetrator tried to start a fight with me in a parking lot with her new boyfriend. I pulled my gun out and got 2 Brandishing charges because it was two people. I never did jail time. No probation. I walked with fines. My fines are all now paid. Being that this is a wobblier misdemeanor and it being over 5 years old.... Does anyone believe that it would effect my opportunities for employement??
